Had a lovely stay at Harbour Cottage in Stromness. Perfect base for exploring Orkney and lovely to come home to every evening, cosy and clean. Beds were extremely comfortable – myself and daughter slept like logs every night..though the sea air probably helped too! We had a hire car so off street parking a bonus.
And very near to walkable eating places – we dined at the Ferry Inn and Hamnavoe, and would highly recommend both.
Wouldn’t hesitate to come back if visiting Orkney again.
